You ever work with someone or know someone that constantly talks about Philosophy and Politics to the point it’s like ok dude that’s enough?

One of my employees constantly talks about philosophy and politics to the point I’m like alright man that’s enough , but for the most part I just let him carry on cuz it makes him feel happy I guess , even though it can be really annoying at times and I think man , his wife probably wants to smack him in the mouth lol and I found out she does , which made me crack up , Some of the shit he tells me does catch my interest and makes me a bit curious and some of the shit he tells me has come true , so it’s like I am stuck in the middle of whether I should believe him or not. Do you know anyone or work with anyone that has this mind set? Some of the shit he tells me stays in my head and then I tell my friends about it as a topic of conversation and shit I shared some of it on here as well. Lately , I been hearing a lot about sex robots and how the Government is fucking up this country and why marijuana is becoming legal etc.. that there is going to me another war and another lockdown , that currency is going to eventually turn to crypto. He fills my head with this shit every day at work, To the point I laugh but it also makes me curious as well cuz I am in a point in life that I really don’t give a shit about a lot of things , I am pretty content and just go with the flow, So how do you handle someone like this? He is a nice guy and he is a family man but Damn!! he lives for this shit lol

Young guys got to grow out of that. I just kind of roll my eyes and think, "well at least thier passionate, no matter how misplaced". If they get too big for my britches then I'll typically poke sarcastic fun at them. I used to work with this young girl that was a big Bernie Sanders fan and used to preach about how Bernie was going to save us all.😆 Don't get me wrong I don't think Bernie's a bad guy. But this is my point. Young people think too simplistically. The simple truth is a ruling class has ALWAYS existed. And there will always be lazy people no matter the rules.

Yeah, I know someone like that with logic and philosophy… 🙋‍♂️ over here but not politics. No TV since 18 so lots of books and only historical politics….

I dont know anyone obsessed with politics irl like the people on this site are. As for philosophy YES. There are sooo many dudes and even some former professors who’d want to go on and on. It gets boring quick

Yes. I used to work with someone that would bitch from the beginning of work to the end of their shift about Trump. She did this every time she worked.
