Do people really think trump is above the law just because he was president at one point?
If he's guilty of something, he should face a fair penalty. They have been investigating him nonstop for years , and a misdemeanor is the best they've come up with? I don't think the issue that people have here is with him facing justice if it's deserved, it's the politically motivated witch hunt. It's all the taxpayer money that's been wasted. It's the violent criminals this same prosecutor is choosing not to prosecute. It's the blind eye that has been turned to the things people like Biden and Hillary have done. If we're going to dispense justice, it needs to be done fairly and evenly, and not be personal.

He says he will be arrested on Tuesday, because of his payment of 130,000 to Stormy Daniels, a woman he had an affair with, and because of what happened during the course of it. On his Truth Social website, he is asking people to go out and protest again, much like what happened on Jan 6th. Former VP Pence is saying that he should not be indicted already--and forgot about Trump agreeing with his protestors when they were hanging "Hang Mike Pence". I guess he must have a short memory problem. Well, to answer your question, no one is above the law in this country, nor should be. no one is sure where he got this information from, that he will be arrested. Personally, I think it would be about time they did something about his behavior during his presidency.

+1 yNo he isn't
However, there are several others that aren't above the law either.
This is more about prosecutor discretion
The implied question is why President Trump and not others that have committed illegal or possible illegal acts.

So whataboutism? Do you study law?

It is whtaboutism. Only two forensics classes, not law.
But most people here are not lawyers either.
Just looking for equal treatment under the law. - +1 y
Im sorry I don’t understand your point at all lol. There is just to much to be said in replying that it’s better to say I have no idea what you’re saying.

Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, Steve Bannon, Rick Gates, George Papdopulos, all went to jail under the Trump administration, so I don't see where the commentator above said that there were others who weren't above the law either. Not to mention, those fools who rioted during the Jan 6th attempted coup, and were arrested and jailed.

Yes, ChefPApiChulo. You'll find that anything related to Trump, gets a rap here bu the Reps who still believe in Trump. It's like a cult. And when they can throw you oddball curves such as the person above who tried to point out a book about bell-curves--insinuating that you are not intelligent enough to know what you are talking about--don't worry. It's them. They've drank the koolaid and it's too late for them.

Jail Trump and you set a precedent that could mean that Obama, Biden, Bush and Bill Clinton could be jailed for their crimes. Remember the ICC just set a warrant out for Putin.
111 Reply- +1 y
@Amy10223 well for starters there's an ICC arrest warrant for Putin invading Ukraine for doing exactly what George Bush did in Iraq. Obama had two US citizens executed without trial and his administration and his administration which included Biden conducted a bombing campaign that killed thousandth of civilians in multiple sovereign countries. Bill Clinton committed perjury, rape, was on Epstein's Peado Island and there is a lot of mysterious deaths around the Clintons the most recent being the death of a former Clinton administration aide with links to Epstein who committed suicide by shooting himself in the stomach, hanging himself and then hiding the shotgun afterwards. Biden has his own stuff including taking classified files, groping women and perverting the course of justice to protect his son hunter.

Ah... yes. I thought you mean the rest of the group you mentioned, besides Putin. I already know about Putin's war crimes warrant. However, Bush invaded Iraq because he believed (as well as some other nations) that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Put-on on the other hand invaded a country just because he wants it to become part of Russia. That's a major difference.
I was speaking about the crimes you allege were committed by Obama, Hillary, and But, you mentioned this:
--- Biden has his own stuff including taking classified files, groping women and perverting the course of justice to protect his son hunter.---
The classified files have been found in Maralago in Trumps' home, as well as Mike Pence's home. They began with being found in Trump's home. As for as Washington reports, sometimes some files have been left in the library of the Whitehouse and may have been taken out by many presidents, but not as many as were found in Trump's home. As for Biden's "groping women" and the rest with his son, Hunter... are you aware that the groping women may be something created to use against Biden, and not at all true? Whereas--with Trump, for example, about 18 women have come forward with sexual allegations. Also--he is under investigation because of the Stormy Daniels payment he made to her to keep her quiet about their affair. He has also had an affair when Melania was pregnant with their son. Does that count at all in terms of presidential misconduct? Not to mention all of the other wrong doings he has committed. - +1 y
@Amy10223 Bush and the rest knew there were no WMDs the rest of the world including Germanyand francd said there was none. Iraq was invaded to put in charge a US friendly regime. It was an ilegal invasion, as ilegal as Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
Obama had two US citizens executed without trial and conducted bombing campaigns over thd middle east and Africa.
I never mentioned hillary but yeah her too. Her husband was president at one time and between two them there's shady shit going back to white water.
Biden was only vice president not president at the time like Trump was. Biden is on camera groping women.
18 women only came forward against trump when he became a Republican and ran for president. Its not ilegal to pay a woman not to talk about an affair you had, its not ilegal to have affairs. It would be ilegal for trump to lie under oath about those affairs like Bill Clinton did.
You should go back and reread my orginial Comment. I'm not saying whether Trump should or shouldn't be jailed, I'm stating why he won't be. - +1 y

------Bush and the rest knew there were no WMDs the rest of the world including Germanyand francd said there was none. Iraq was invaded to put in charge a US friendly regime. It was an ilegal invasion, as ilegal as Putin's invasion of Ukraine.------
I don't think so. The invasion phase began on 19 March 2003 (air) and 20 March 2003 (ground) and lasted just over one month, including 26 days of major combat operations, in which a combined force of troops from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland invaded Iraq. Those other countries suspected Iraq as having MWOD as well.
----Biden was only vice president not president at the time like Trump was. Biden is on camera groping women.-----
There is such a thing as photoshopping and trick photography.
----18 women only came forward against trump when he became a Republican and ran for president. Its not ilegal to pay a woman not to talk about an affair you had, its not ilegal to have affairs. It would be ilegal for trump to lie under oath about those affairs like Bill Clinton did.----
18 women came forward during the course of his presidency.
At least 26 women have accused President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct since the 1970s.
Renewed attention was brought to the allegations amid the #MeToo movement and a national conversation concerning sexual misconduct.
Trump has repeatedly denied the accusations, denouncing his accusers as "liars."
In June 2019, columnist E. Jean Carroll accused President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her by forcing his penis inside her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in the mid-1990s.
And in September 2020, model Amy Dorris said that in 1997 Trump forcibly kissed her, groped her all over her body, and gripped her tightly so she couldn't get away.
Bill Clinton may or may have not lied---but Trump definitely lied about his "hush money" payment to Stormy Daniels, which he had denied all the time. - +1 y
Let’s not forget what trump said. “Just grab them by the pussy.”
Is the Biden family above the law?
13 Reply- +1 y
No, but there's no evidence they've broken any.
"“Where is the evidence of illegality here?” [Fox "News"] anchor John Roberts asked. “You can say that this looks bad, that there may be impropriety but where’s the illegality?”
“Well, it's not so much about illegality, and that remains to be seen,” [Rep. Byron] Donalds said. "
That's a pretty clear "we haven't got any evidence of illegality".
So, if it's impropriety will they be investigating Jared Kushner for the $2 billion (with a B) "investment" by the Saudis, from which he can take a percentage every year for "managing"? Someone who was actually working in the White House and appointed by Trump (and who should never have had security clearance).
