Remember when the Clinton scandal broke, and we all were so embarrassed that the country was being lead by a lecherous sleazebag? Can we go back to that, please? I'd much prefer leadership that makes me feel embarrassment to leadership that makes me feel shame coupled with terror since they seem to TRY to be starting WW3.

As I see it, Bolton only two things that put him ahead of Biden: he's not actively trying to undermine as much of the Constitution, and his hair and mustache are finally the same color.

Hell, maybe I should seek the Republican nomination; "He couldn't possibly do worse than the last couple of guys!" isn't exactly inspiring, but it's TRUE. Come to think of it, maybe I should seek the Democratic one, too. If nothing else, the debates would be hilarious. Just me up on stage for an hour, arguing with myself.

Trump is a shithead president most people with a brain knew it but his charisma managed to charm a large portion of our population... soo its because of charisma alone that i can never see bolton getting anywhere close to the presidency. he'll be eliminated quickly in the primaries.

Going to disagree about charisma being the sole reason Trump won the presidency, it did play a part, but their were other factors which led to his winning. 2016 was the year of the outsiders hence why Sanders and Trump (stupid people viewed him as an outsider) did so well. Being from a rust belt state, have to say, many people (not me) took a chance with Trump cause they were negatively affected by trade deals Hillary supported, and while the 2016 election was taking place Obama was pushing through the TPP (transpacific partner ship) that was opposed by same labor unions who got Obama elected. Hillary supported the TTP while both Trump and Sanders opposed it, tho a stupid move, not surprising, people affected by trade deals in the past chose the candidate opposing the TPP vs the one supporting. Anther factor, was Hillary was simply the most disliked candidate, it was evident during the primary when Sanders and Trump were filling stadiums while Hillary struggled to fill gymnasiums

ok there were other factors yes. but Trump ran as a fake populist appealing to people with little brain cells and they for the most part bought it.

and i also think if most people hadn't stayed home that election and voted for hilary anyways... as much of a hostile bitch she is... she would have won and we wouldn't have 3 crazy people in our SCOTUS now.

there's a lot of missteps there but that one stands out for me. i think we learned this lesson with the midterms thankfully. we cannot just sit home and not vote we must prevent the fascists on the right from taking over. it would be great if a progressive like bernie could win instead of biden but we got little choice in our 'first past the post' voting system we got now.

anyways... bolton won't be a blip on the radar along with that moron nikki haley lol. neither of them will unseat Trump or Desantis for the republican nomination.

That's what happens when you shove the 2 worst candidates down peoples throats, your no longer forcing people to choose the lesser of 2 evils, but equal evils instead. I don't blame people for staying home, I blame Hillary and the DNC for giving people a reason to stay home. The problem isn't if a progressive like Bernie could win, the problem is if a progressive like Bernie is allowed to win. The Democratic party beyond repair, so instead of trying to fix it, Bernie and other progressives needs to ditch the Democratic and create their own progressive party. I left the Democratic party after the 2020 primary and it feels great, refuse to support a party who constantly screws over progressives. Yes, the Democratic party has a habit of screwing over progressives, DNC would rather lose with a corporate Dem then win with a progressive. I don't even foresee Desantis unseating Trump.

well im not staying home ever. im always gonna vote even if i despise the candidate. if they are the lesser of two evils i don't want to contribute to the greater evil possibly winning. a 'no vote' is basically a vote for whoever ends up winning in my view... in our current voting system.

DNC At this point Democrats and Republicans are both sides of the same coin. If Democratic party doesn't want people to stay home, then stop rigging primaries for candidates no one wants, and tell political pollsters to stop telling people to stay home we don't want your vote. Participated in several debate qualifying polls during 2020 primary, had 2 different pollsters tell me straight to my face to stay home they didn't want my vote. I'm done giving the DNC chances, gave them their last chance in 2020 and they blew it. Should have left in 2016 during the walk away movement, but gave them anther chance with new leadership only for a repeat of 2016.

That's your choice and right to disagree just like it's my choice and right to do so also. I have witnessed enough to know democrats are equally terrible, only difference is Republicans are terrible to your face while Democrats are terrible behind your back. Democrats should have codified Roe v Wade during Obama's term when Democrats controlled the House and the Senate, but they didn't cause using it and other issues for campaigning and fundraising is more important.
