I’m one of those stupid, ignorant Americans who knows absolutely nothing about the world or geography...

Yet amazingly I’ve hung out with Kurds and know a fair bit about them.

All the Kurds I knew were good people. They were just like anyone else—they want to go to work and have good jobs and raise families and hope that their children have a better life than they did. I hope one day your people get their own country. God knows the Iraqis and Turks have massacred your people and the Americans used you—sorry, this is just what we do to everyone. And I mean everyone.

Kurds are awesome though. I’ve got a lot of admiration for your people.

this is true. 40 million Kurdish people are struggling to keep their identity and culture alive. they wouldn't even let us speak our language. some want our culture to disappear

Saddam Hussein was absolutely brutal to the Kurds. Regardless of what America’s motives were for invading Iraq, a by-product of that resulted in helping the Kurds.

There was a TV commercial with a cute little Kurdish girl, and she was standing on the hillside, and she was thanking the Americans for helping her people. The woke couldn’t stand for the fact that America was liked by anyone. The woke hate themselves, their country, and pretty much everything in life. So the TV commercial got pulled.

@Vivaldi People from Elazığ are zaza's? I didn't know that. I actually grown up in western side of country so i dont really know about eastern culture. For example I know kurds and zaza's are different but i have no idea whats the difference is 😅

Saddam was mostly right when he said that the Kurds will be the cause of most problems, after him.

White people cannot tell the difference between Arabs, Pakistanis, Indians, Syrian, Afghans and others. Kurds tend to be the ones causing most of the terrorism in their countries under the guise of "being Muslims".
