Why is the left so racist when it comes to gun crimes?

Every time it's white kids/adults getting murdered by fire arms, the left screams from the roof tops! "Gun control, gun control..." but when black people spill blood on a daily/nightly basis on the streets throughout America, these same people are MIA. Republicans constantly bring up inner city violence. They actually lobby to get rid of scummy mayors, like Gordon Lightfoot of Chicago, that are responsible for the violence and are immediately called "racist". Who are the real racists?

Really? There are calls for gun control from the left in the Chicago media after just about every shooting. I think you should pay closer attention. They frame the argument as a gun issue instead of a race issue like republicans do. Republicans have a vested political interest in making it about race because it serves as a dog whistle to their supporters. You’re doing the same here…. yet it’s the left that’s racist? Please.

Yes its the left that is racist. You may also notice how socalled "progressive" communities have no problems calling black people they don't like, gloat about people they don't like getting fired, and attempt to bully streamers who dare to stream a game they don't like.

@Sasahara I’m not saying there aren’t some racists on the left but it’s nowhere near what you see on the right. Policy positions that stoke racism are part of the conservative platform. The right has consistently opposed any and all civil rights reforms aimed at helping minorities. Their entire immigration stance is rooted in racism. They openly play footsie with white supremacists. I’ll take some woke progressives any day over that freak show
