based upon the "hush" money count, seems... ridiculous. Definitely a bad decision on his part but gotta wonder... whom initiated the hush money? Was she attempting to blackmail him or did he anticipate she would and so reached out, to silence her?

The other suits seem more reasonable to pursue. I can see the Jan 6 viewpoint, let that run it's course and the election interference.

Either way, it's an attack to prevent him from running again.

All of these counts start with the hush money, and his characterization of them as "legal fees" to avoid taxes.

Tax avoidance and falsifying business records are the real issues in this.

That is illegal, but how much tax are we talking about... $130k deduction gives maybe $30k benefit. In general, may not have changed taxes at all. If that's the case, I'd go through my taxes with a fine tooth comb and find deductions I missed, re-file and try to collect from govt. If not, then he pays penalty and fine. With how he structured it, I see the attempt, but that is questionable. it should be a personal expense not a business one. trouble is, he's trying to hide this.

If anyone thinks this is the worst of it they are kidding. Most of these businesses are full of crap. Someone died at my former company by suicide... in the building. That was covered up... want to talk hush money for that? there's no public police report or forensics, etc..

Michael Cohen's former legal advisor Joe Costello will be allowed to testify. He has emails that show Michael Cohen lied about all this. The case falls apart after this.

@msc545 In the latest Rasmussen poll it shows Trump with a commanding lead of 40 points over Ron DeSantis among Republicans but even more interesting was his lead over Biden has almost doubled. He is ten percentage points ahead. The increase also came from women and the suburban voters. I am not seeing much of demise here.
