Liberals, what aspect of freedom has a bad outcome, but we don't fix it because freedom is more important?

Is there ANY aspect of society that we allow to happen, because to take away people's freedom wouldn't necessarily be worse, but that we value people's freedom in this case, over the bad outcome of said freedom?

Well, call me a penis puppet, but let's talk about the elephant in the room - genital mutilation. Yeah, I'm talking about chopping off bits and pieces of someone's genitals because of some archaic tradition or religious belief. And let's be real, it's not just happening in some far-off land, it's happening right here in our own fucking backyard. Now, I don't know about you, but last time I checked, mutilating someone's genitals isn't exactly what I would call "freedom". But the liberals, bless their bleeding hearts, are so obsessed with freedom that they're willing to turn a blind eye to this barbaric practice. It's like they're saying, "Hey, if they want to mutilate their genitals, who are we to stop them? That's their freedom, man." Well, sorry to burst your liberal bubble, but freedom shouldn't come at the cost of someone's body parts. It's like saying, "Hey, if someone wants to chop off their own fucking arm, who are we to stop them? That's their freedom, man."

I think one of Socrates criticisms of free speech was that it allowed demagogues and dictators who abolish liberty to come to power.
