Lived in france for 2 and a half years now and I never experienced that.

Sure there are the occasional french rich kid daddy's boy who thinks he is unique specimen but his superiority is not national.

If anything french people love to criticize everything themselves included and will often compare themselves to other countires saying "we should learn from them"

Some French people may think like that but the majority of us do not. As in all countries there are people who are contemptuous etc. but that should not make the good behavior of the majority of people.


As a French person I love my country and its history but I am interested in other cultures that have their own richness and that I respect as much as mine.

I live in a touristic city and during college i worked as a waitress, I withnessed A LOT of French and Russian people go mad just bc we dont speak their language lol

Never experienced that, and I've worked along with a lot of French people over the years. They were always cordial and respectful, I'm sure they have their fair share of assholes like the rest of us.
