Theodore Roosevelt vs. Woodrow Wilson on government intervention?

I'm not quite sure I understand what is happening here. I read an article (https://usa.usembassy.de/etexts/democrac/32.htm) that explained that Wilson was a Jeffersonian democrat... and that he apposed Theodore Roosevelt's "Big government" approach and instead of using government regulation to directly monitor businesses he instead used... very strict rules... to regulate the economy.

Isn't the point of a highly regulated economy to put into action strict rules? Or am I missing something here? To me it sounds like they were saying "Woodrow Wilson was not a believer in Jesus Christ... he was a christian." Playing on words... but saying the same thing.

I'm confused. So I supposed my question would be how was Wilson's approach different from Theodore Roosevelt's?

You mean a centrally planned command economy (communism) where control over the money system is given to a party elite/communist party (federal reserve) that dictates winners and losers in an economy and the people are robbed and oppressed through taxation (federal income tax) and inflation (fiat money printing) so that corrupt party members can print money and dole it out to their cronies?

You're being given examples of how their economic system works every day. The federal reserve printed shit tons of money under the ruse of stimulus checks during covid after they created a recession by locking people down and supply shocks by disrupting the supply chain. 98%+ of the stimulus payout was doled out to the aristocracy (1%). They financed riots and promoted looting and violence to crush small business by utilizing centralized media control. Then they modified interest rates to crush the commercial banking sector so that they can eventually have total control with central banking via FedNow accounts and a CBDC. When their cronies got hurt in Silicon Valley Bank, they bailed them out 100%, but they clearly stated they would pick and choose which people they would bail out and most people would be bailed in and lose everything in other banks. When their Nazi cronies in Ukraine wanted money and weapons they spared no expense. Time to wake the fuck up.

Back in 1912 the communists were playing all sides of the field. The uni-party is nothing new. You had Woodrow Wilson (D) who sold us out to the central bankers. You have Theodore Roosevelt (P) who ran as a Republican, but when he lost ran as a Progressive to push the same communism policies as Wilson but tried to split the Republican vote. You has Eugene V. Debs who was at least honest about being a socialist in the race. And you had William Howard Taft (R). It was all about the illusion of choice that year. The mandate was to push through central banking and federal income tax regardless of who won.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. I was so confused. In what universe was Woodrow Wilson a Jeffersonian democrat. He literally expanded the federal government to heights that I'm sure that even Teddy didn't see coming. Not to mention he was in favor of jettisoning the legislative branch 😒

But somehow this is libertarianism and we need to pin it on conservatives because orange man bad.

Believe me, I have woken up. I understand what's happening. All of these big businesses are just extra arms for the government. We can't challenge them in a fair economic system because they are way too big. When the Democrat Party can just pay Facebook to just censor stuff to influence an election, when they can pay money to these corporations to enforce an unconstitutional vax-mandate because the courts ruled against them, you start to realize that this is ACTUAL fascism. Monopolize every major industry and then use our tax dollars to have them oppress us and beat our tax dollars over our heads.

I don't agree with Teddy on everything, but I have come to appreciate his trust busting. Because we are witnessing real fascism right now... with the Democrat Party being the leader of it.
