Because the extreme pro-lifers have no issues with bombing a clinic or assassinating a doctor that performs abortions.

I actually think many, many couples would adopt and pay the medical bills as mentioned in the last poll choice. My guess is that there is something, ie government, blocking them.

Also, not wanting babies to be murdered does not mean that pro-life are responsible for solving all other problems. As mentioned, adoption is something that has a long waiting list but government bureaucracy stymies the process.
