+1 yI actually have no issue with the conversation about how to handle male-to-female trans athletes.
What I take issue with is that the people making a stink about it very transparently don’t give a flying fuck about the integrity of female athletics or the prospects of female athletes. No one forgets that these are usually the same people who were trashing Meghan Rapinoe a couple years ago when she brought up the disparity in pay relative to the (much worse) men’s national soccer team. And it wasn’t just like “I respectfully disagree, Miss Rapinoe. While we tremendously respect and appreciate you and the other ladies’ skills, this is simply relative to revenue…”, etc, etc. It was more like “you dumb fuckin’ bitch, suck my dick and then get back in the kitchen!” Same deal if you mention the WNBA, these people laugh about it. So miss me by a country mile with faux-concern for much lower level female athletes. This is all about finding an excusable way of making life hard for a group of people they don’t like, and it’s clear to anyone with a functional brain.
Honestly, I think all this hubbub boils down to being like 90-some% about dudes being afraid they’ll be fooled by a passing trans woman and make out with them, lmfao. Just like those things where we say “that guy does this or that to overcompensate for a small penis”, I see this and I’m like “this is just people terrified of getting caught in a Crying Game situation, lmfao. Because you know what I never really see? People worrying about female-to-male trans people. They get broadly trashed as being trans, but if we’re being totally honest, we all know that when people speak disparagingly of trans people, they’re thinking of trans WOMEN. Back in the day when it was just gay people getting this guff, same deal. Gay dudes might get the shit beaten out of them, but people mostly left lesbians alone.
It’s whoever makes men feel sexually uncomfortable, I think I’ve cracked the case, lmao.

Well that’s a hell of an assumption to make.
I’ve known lots of women who played sports and even coached women. Many of the people who have been raising this issue DO care about the integrity of women’s sports. Why? Because people who care about sports care about FAIRNESS.
BECAUSE THATS THE WHOLE GODDAMN POINT. You know, FAIR HONEST COMPETITION.
But uh, you know best, apparently. You and your “assumptions.” - +1 y
@Agagagagaga If the shoe doesn’t personally fit you, then don’t wear it. I didn’t say it was one-size-fits-all, but I can’t help but notice this seems to be true with MANY people. All you have to do is listen to them talk. You can tell the people apart by the ones who make respectful objections and propose productive alternative ideas from the people who are full of anti-trans vitriol and are just yelling that it’s not right. My current opinion is “trans-females may have a distinct athletic advantage over biological females, so there needs to be serious discussion about how to handle it. There’s no super-clean way to handle it, but the end result will either need to be a VERY RESPECTFUL choice to have them continue to compete with biologically male athletes, with an equally respectful treatment of them during participation and with severe repercussions for harassment; OR just a complete paradigm shift where we have trans-male and trans-female divisions independent of tradition male/female separation. This will also require good-faith effort on the end of trans folks and an acknowledgment of their unchangeable abilities and characteristics.” That’s what it sounds like when it’s approached with benevolence.

@Agagagagaga Not for nothing, how many people are even trans? 1% of the population feels too high, but let’s go with 1% for the sake of round numbers. That means roughly 0.5% of the population would be trans-females. What percentage of biological females are even athletes? When I was in school, it felt like around 50% of the boys played some kind of sport, but maybe like 10% of the girls played something. I feel like a lot then were in dance or something like that, which can also be athletic and competitive, but just as far as traditional interscholastic sports go, like softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, etc, most girls weren’t involved. Seemed like it was the same group of girls dominating athletics in different seasons. Maybe I’m underestimating, but safe to say, fewer girls play sports relative to boys.
So with that said, let’s even say it’s 20% of girls playing sports…. how many of them are even serious enough or good enough to play collegiately or professionally? That’s the only arguable stakes, competition for scholarships, etc, and I find it hard to believe that many people are going to permanently alter themselves if they aren’t truly trans in their heart and soul, just so they can be premiere female athlete who will still probably make no money at the sport. The Williams sisters are few and far between, most of these chicks don’t get rich. And furthermore, of the assumed 0.5% of people who are trans-females, how many of them are even athletes to start with? That’s a pretty wild assumption in and of itself.

+1 yEver since the rise of trans rights most biological women rights have to now coexist it kinda like with the idea of non white people getting rights and the same apply to non straight people and agian that includes trans people and since the rise for all groups including women rights and basically like everyone is kinda forced to share now. While I don't enjoy knowing most actual women are suffering from trans women dominating their sports I guess I kinda understand why trans women and trans men are playing with biological men and women is because trans people are frankly a minority of the general population around the world so to include them instead of excluding them you kinda have to take some male and female exclusive spaces away, personally biologically men won't be affected by this honestly I wished I could say the same to biological women but unfortunately we living in a different society than how it was in the past. But yes I am honestly with you on this being unfair for bio women but we can't really do as much, hopefully this doesn't be the complete death for women sports as a whole.

+1 yPolitical correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to

+1 yBecause admitting what a wonan is would cost them more ideologically than protecting their core base. NOTHING comes before the agenda on the left, and EVERYONE is disposable for the cause. Let that remain always in mind for anyone with such low self-esteem as to be taken in by leftist lies.

+1 yThe Democrat party is in thrall to the woke transgender ideology. They care much more about that than they do fairness in women's sports.
00 Reply 12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Because they prioritize victim groups as a means of gaining votes. Woke politics skunks women's rights.

+1 yWomen seem not to care. If women protest tomorrow to keep these transgender creeps out of their sport then trannies won't be allowed to enter into competition against women.

They aren't protesting or not hard enough. If women organize a serious march and protest that they don't want men in their competition or decide to boycott the competition then the trannies would be cast out.

They aren't trying. A few of them online complaining isn't the same as thousands of them taking the streets. And if it was my kid, what can I do? I'm only one person.

My liberal policies isn't some nonsense BS like changing one's gender.
My liberal policies has to do to fix was broken instead within a society instead of staying with the status quo that no longer serves the public as a whole, but only a select few. - +1 y
Listen, the current Democrat party is a p. o. s hijack by radicals in the U. S.
Out of the top 10 crime ridden states, Republicans have 6 out of the 10 with a Republican state being Alaska being #1
So you keep using these political talking points you hear on radio and TV to make your political ideology seem superior doesn't work against me. - +1 y
It's still crime ridden. You claim Democrats suck at dealing with crime which is true but Republicans seem no better since 6 of 10 Republicans have control over.
