When the USA weaponized the dollar by stealing $300 billion of Russia's money the world took notice that the USA cannot be trusted. Therefore, countries are starting to reduce their dollar holdings and trade in other currencies. According to the Federal Reserve and U. S. Department of the Treasury, foreign countries held a total of 7.07 trillion U. S. dollars. Inflation occurs when that money is returned to the USA. Other factors include: Saudi Arabia will consider trading in currencies other than the US dollar. BRICS Countries keen on having common currency to replace US dollar. Brazil and China have agreed to bypass the US dollar when paying for trade goods.   However, most international trading is in US dollars. Also, there are a number of things the US can do to maintain the value of the US dollar. They include: Raise interest rates to double digits. Cut the military by 50%. Reduce social security payment by 10% and raise the retirement age to 70. And, double or triple the premiums for Medicare.

Lol. Saudi Arabia is a client state of the US. The King of Saudi Arabia knows that he could be beheaded and be replaced by any number of US backed Saudi Prince. The Saudis are trying to get a better deal for selling their oil, when Obama started franking Saudi oil prices took a massive hit.

China is a bigger threat to Russia than the west. They aren't allies they are rivals. China is looking to reclaim all old Chinese territory and that isn't Taiwan, resources rich north Manchuria stolen by Russians 100 years ago. They see Russia's current military and economic weakness as an opportunity.

Brazil is South America. South America is the dominion of the US, nothing happens there without the permission of the US government.

If a BRIC currency was going to replace the dollar it would have to be back exclusively by Chinese money as Russian oil/gas is unstable right now. Gold as a reserve currency like oil or gas is completely dependent on how much gold is mined every year, so like like the US did during the Obama administration to attack Russian oil/gas profits was to start major fracking, up us oil production and get the Saudis to lower their oil prices. This had the knock on effect of making energy cheaper which undermined the Chinese economy by making US manufacturers more competitive.

Brazil is on the up but its in America's back yard, the US is a major influence over it and its economy. South and central America are a part of US sphere of influence. Even before the US was a Super power it was a regional power.

Russia is in no real postion to achieve this. The war in Ukraine is costing them too much and sanctions are crippling them. They are desperately searching for a way around sanctions to be able to trade internationally again but other BRIC countries aren't really on their side and India and China have been taking advantage of their weakness.

India is keeping its foot in the BRIC water but China is a rival and direct competitor. For the last few decades they leaned towards Russia for support as the US cozied up to China and Pakistan but now with tension between China and countries in Pacfic are leaning towards the west.

China certainly has an intrest in setting up a rival currency to the petro-dollar and they have tried and failed before. I dont believe China has an intrest in helping Russia but sees current events and Russian weakness as an opportunity for technology, cheaper energy, cheaper food, cheaper mineral resources, regaining lost Chinese territory and for China to become the dominant regional power in the oil/gas rich Central asia where china a plans to build its new silk road through.

South Africa is in bad economic shape, its infrastructure is crumbling. This once prosperous country looks set to go the way of its neighbor Zimbabwe.

Yes, we are. For quite some time now I've been following this very story, and virtually all sources that I've been able to find on it agree that the days of the petrodollar are well and truly over. And  thank God for that! :)  The PNAC neo-con American Empire must DIE!

Yes. America has been destroying everybody that threatens the American petrol dollar where all trade of oil must be done in the American dollar. I could go down a list of names of people and countries that's been butt fucked by America, but I'll assume you know there was no weapons of mass destruction, the terrorist dude wasn't really that big of a deal, and that rich guy was rich... big deal, you killed him and then Europe got flooded with African people. So did Turkey and Greece, among other places. All that bullshit was about oil... was about what gets exchanged for oil. You say you'll buy oil using a different currency... you have America's war machine on your doorstep.

Don't get me wrong... I'm American... but I think we need to build our own factories and start drilling our own oil and get the fuck off everyone else's doorstep. We have college graduates here that end up being baristas for life. They could use a job... but the jobs go over to China or India. Our growing homeless population could use a factory job. Just saying. The best jobs for us is getting sent over to bumfuckt Egypt to help build them a bridge. Meanwhile, our bridges are becoming painted rust.

It all depends on who wins the war. Look into Project Ice Breaker and Unicoin... The central bankers intend to control the entire world's currency via a CBDC systems called Unicoin. FedNow accounts are just the American subsystem for the overarching Uncoin which would control the entire globe under one central currency system controlled by the cabal. So if the communist win, then America in partnership with China and others will control the entire world's currency. If the patriots in America win, then Unicoin will be destroyed, gold will kill the federal reserve, and the world will become a more fair free market system where people can thrive. Yea we are, you pretty much summed it up, once you Weaponized, a currency against your international rivals other countries are going to look at that currency and think, why should I invest or use that currency if it can be taken away with the press of a button. India Russia (I think Pakistan don’t quote me on that one) Saudi Arabia, Russia, and even France is now going to be trading in the yuwan instead of American dollars.

now given the state of our economy we frankly need to get rid of SS and welfare, the military we can’t cut given we are the worlds police. Historically when the United States goes isolationist it turns out bad for the rest of the world. Remember that’s how we got ww1 and 2.
