What is something that people are always surprised to learn about you?

When I tell people I'm a writer, they often get surprised. I don't usually bring it up unless we're having a meaningful conversation. They're like, "Oh, you're a writer? Have you published anything?" And then I say, "No, too much anxiety."

They always assume I'm smart for some reason.
