Liberals get by with lying. Conservatives don't.

Most people here are too young to remember Dan Rather lying through his teeth. When he became anchor of CBS, all pretense of being unbiased went out the window. He didn't even pretend to be unbiased. It's gone downhill ever since.

Today, most "news" is editorial, not news. It's the reason I quit watching the news over 25 years ago. News that's even remotely unbiased is a thing of the past. In the 60s and 70s the networks started to realize just how powerful this new thing called television was. It had a powerful affect on people's beliefs and feelings.

It wasn't until the late 70s and early 80s that they really started putting their newfound power to manipulate people's thinking to use.

Whenever liberals whine about Fox, they are admitting that conservatives are right. Why? Because they are cherry picking. The vast majority of media is liberal, including most television, not just news. Prime time television, late night talk shows, daytime soaps, morning programs, even children's programming. Add to that newspapers, magazines, the music industry, "public" radio and TV like PBS and NPR.

90% of it is liberal as hell. So yea, when all the liberals can do is cherry pick and whine Fox Fox Fox, it's an admission that conservatives are right about the media being liberal.

The stuff with Fox wasn't even outright lying because they actually believed it. There is a difference between lying and being wrong.

With the Dominion settlement and an equal or greater amount likely going to Smartmatic, Fox needs to transition to hosts they have some measure of control over so Murdoch doesn’t have to keep doling out hundreds of millions of dollars. That can’t continue. They have to dial back the crazy just enough to stay out of courtrooms. I predict they’ll part ways with more of their on air personalities soon.

I mean, if you can’t lie on TV anymore, we should definitely shut down CNN, MSNBC CBS NBC etc it seems like they parted ways over contractual dispute since fox lost that lawsuit and had to pay $800 million. They couldn’t pay him what he’s worth anymore.

Mainly CNN and MSNBC. Covington catholic sued MSNBC and CNN and got millions after that Covington catholic native Americans banging the drum in their face thing that happened in DC. Kyle Rittenhouse is suing MSNBC and CNN and will likely win. Michael, Knowles of the daily wire is suing CNN and MSNBC For slander against him. after his C-pac speech saying transgender ideology needs to be eradicated from public life. They accused him of genocide. He told them that he was not advocating for genocide he was advocating for getting rid of the idea of transgenderism. What do you do with those people who have gone through the surgery you get a mental health and try to prevent them from killing themselves, which so many due before and after surgery it is a mental illness that has a very high rate of suicide, more so after surgery. I don’t remember last time NBC or CBS was sued but CNN and MSNBC get sued all the time.
