I hear airlines no longer require someone to have training or flight hours. in fact, if you want to drive a car, you can do it without a vision test... who cares if you can't see most of the time it's not a problem. Surgeons... we've lessened the standards as well, as long as they've dissected a frog (or thought they did) and could see 20 years ago, they are ok for doing heart and brain surgery. We've really opened up the freedom in our society.

Yes. I joined the Air Force to be a pilot and I had to take all kinds of tests both physical and mental. There was a color threshold test that I could not pass and was dropped from the program. I think being president is a little more important than being a fighter pilot. They should have to take a mental competency test. Whether or not to debate should be up to the candidates. If they choose not to it is up to the voters to decide if it is because they are too senile to debate a candidate who is still mentally sound or that they are just saddled up with a record of incompetence and corruption that they can no longer hide from.

You need to evaluate tests based on validity and reliability data which you can get from the test publisher and from research studies, instead of your subjective impressions of the material. I have been heavily involved in test construction and research design for the last 15 years.

I have evaluated the "test" you refer to and I will tell you yet again, as I have in the past, that it is completely inadequate in terms of reliability and validity to the extent that it is never used in forensics or in clinical work. Technically, it does not even meet the criteria to be called a "test".

If you are going to argue your points like this, at LEAST rely on something that actually is valid. Using this "test" as your evidence is about the same as relying on Astrology or Tarot cards.

If he refused to take it the fake news would have said that he had something to hide and if he failed it rhey would have said he was unfit for office. If you're going to do that, it has to start on the state legislative level. That would eliminate MTG and Boebert, and many Governors.
