Why do people on this site get so defensive when conservatives get criticized but have no problem condemning liberals?

As a liberal the moral high ground is smooth sailing.

Don't be racist.

Abortion is a nessesity medical care procedure. Child marriage happens when an 80 year old man rapes a 12 year old girl. Then the parents of the girl begs the man to marry the whore of a child and the 80 year old man demands additional dowery for saving the whore.

Minority rights. Trans and gay rights.

Conveniences just don't have a leg to stand on. They hate the costal elite yet they elect donald trunp. " i borrowed 1 million dollars from my dad and I'm a self made millionaire" the most costal elite American. Same party to tell people to pull themselves from the bootstrap and stealing opportunities to own boots.

I honestly believe Margaret Atwood was right and that the US will become like Gilead in her novel or worse like a Christian version of how Iran is today.

Both sides are guilty of only wanting to hear opinions they agree with. It's sad this country has largely lost the ability to discuss politics in a civilized way. There does seem to be an uptick around here lately though in trying to make fun of Biden's dumb comments but then they immaturely delete all the comments reminding them of dumb Trump comments. Conservatives need their "safe space" I guess.
