Hey police officers, do you have to make a quota on fines?

Friend of my father was a higher ranking police officer (commissioner at some point) and no they dont need that. Germany though. All police officers are totally fine when there is nothing to do while on patrol. Just not doing something when there obviously was something to do is not accepted.

I used to know a lot of cops. Some guys gave out more rickets than others. I knew one guy who used to brag when he came off shift that he paid for his shift.

My experience is so different. After saint George Floyd's death, cops stopped doing their job. You can now drive 80 in a school zone. The cops DO NOT do traffic stops. The politicians do not want cops interacting with the public. It's just too much of a liability. If George is pulled over for speeding, he might have outstanding warrants, and maybe a gun. If you are a cop, you have to make a split second decision. Do you want to die or go to prison. I'm not joking. My license tabs are a year old. The cops don't care. As a matter of fact, our retarded governor wanted fireman to respond to 911 calls, because they don't have guns. After a fireman was shot, then the trained police could respond.

This is being done by design. I listened to Jessie Kellie talk about it today.
He said that people think like Alvin Bragg are soft on crime. Jessie is correct. If you're a criminal, Alvin loves you. If you do what it takes to protect your family, you're going down. I can't believe that voters can't see this.

No. I worked for several different police departments in the 90's and none of them had a quota of any kind.

Having said that's when you worked the DUI/Speed Enforcement grant, you were expected to be productive (correctly so).

Used to work graveyard at a convenience store in the hood in a fairly large city. Made friends with the district's cops. According to them, if they don't have to take someone to jail or write a ticket, it was a good night.

In UK I doubt it, giving a fine means there has been a crime, words of advice can resolve a situation without increasing crime numbers,,,
