Can we object to conservative Cosplay?

Since conservatives object so much to men dressing as women, does this mean the left can object to conservatives dressing as members of the military?

Kind of like that, yes. But more like buying stuff from surplus stores and putting their own weird patches on it.

Hmm… I tend to lean in favor of just letting people have fun. But I’m also not the kind of guy who takes issue with trans people transitioning.

One of my dream car projects is actually modifying a retired humvee with a racing engine and stick shift. I might be too close to this debate to be objective

Yes, especially in the fighting forces (the dangerous roles) as opposed to the massive military bureaucracy. The elites exploit their sense of patriotism while also working against them politically on the domestic front. The politically smart thing for conservatives and anyone on the left not aligned with globalist neoliberalism to do would be to not fight the elite’s wars for them.

I agree completely. The conservatives have this romanticized view of what war is really like right up until they really have to do it. I have spoken to many of these men after they have come back and their experiences, while powerful and disturbing, do not change their political views at all.

But in any case, people can object to whatever they want - as long as they do so in a legal manner consistent with freedom of speech

What? you are saying conservative people aren't in the military? Quite a few are, some are democrat. The left slid too far left for some people. There was a time it was fashionable to despise republicans.

I think a lot of military veterans would be disgusted at what they see going on in the country, the disrespect. I'd be curious to find out.
