Sometime ago I believe that I heard if Trump didn’t get the GOP Nomination for president. He would run as an independent candidate. Do you think he would have a chance to win or would that spread the votes around enough that the Democrats could win?
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI think this is why the Republican party still embraces Trump. The Republican party is much better than the democrats about consolidating power for the "good" of the party. I think the Republicans know at this point they have a stick on dynamite in Trump. If they don't support him he'll split the party in two. So they either embrace Trump or lose to Biden again. I think the Republican party just hopes a charismatic Republican emerges from the field to take Trumps thunder from Republican voters. Then the Republican party will turn on Trump in a heartbeat.

+1 yI wouldn't count on it or, he would've done so the first time! He only chose to go republican to be able to get into the debates. They don't include independents or whigs in the debates.

@FunkyMonkee. Good points!

Thank you. But, that's what he said 7 or 8 years ago. He WANTED to go Ind. but found they wouldn't allow those in the debates and he felt he couldn't win without being in the debates so, as he sure as hell wasn't gonna go dem, he went rep.
But, I really don't see what the difference is! You're SUPPOSED to vote for the best person for the job!! NOT just party or skin colour or sexual orientation or to keep someone else from winning or the supposed lesser of two evils or even because someone on t. v. TOLD you who to vote for!! I'm still a dem but, I voted for him the last two times because he was the best person for the job! Still is!! - +1 y
@nolabels Exacvtly! I don't see WHY they wouldn't include anything but D & R.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 ySo, let's talk about Donald Trump – that orange, spray-tanned, comb-over sporting, pussy-grabbing, Twitter-obsessed, and politically incorrect man who has captured the hearts and minds of millions of Americans.
If he decides to run as an independent, it's going to be a fucking shitshow of epic proportions. It will be like a porno come to life, with all the blood, sweat, and tears that come with it.
Picture this – Trump, with his bulging ego and his tiny, little hands, strutting onto the debate stage, his comb-over flapping in the wind, and his tongue wagging like a horny dog in heat. He'll be like a bull in a china shop, tearing through the competition with his trademark insults, his racist rants, and his sexually suggestive comments.
And if he manages to win the election as an independent, well, let's just say that the world as we know it will never be the same again. It will be like a hardcore pornographic movie, with Trump as the star, pounding away at the American people with his orange prowess.
So, who the fuck knows. If he does, it's going to be a wild and raunchy ride with guaranteed TDS sufferers making more "orange man bad" protests.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what Trump derangement syndrome looks like.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Sixgunsound those were included in the last sentence.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Sixgunsound Trump derangement syndrome is like trying to pleasure yourself with a pork sword - it might feel good in the moment, but it's ultimately unsatisfying and leaves you feeling empty. It's like chasing after a lap rocket that you can never catch, always lusting after something that's just out of reach. It's like trying to play with your love muscle, but realizing that it's just not as impressive as you thought it was. So, just like you wouldn't want to waste your time and energy on a limp sausage, don't waste your time and energy on Trump derangement syndrome. Instead, focus on what really matters - like enjoying a juicy beef bazooka of bliss or indulging in some chorizo of charm. Trust me, it's much more fulfilling in the long run.

I'll have to take your word for it! I'm not a girl, or gay.

+1 yTrump heads a wildly popular movement, but in the end the electoral college and foreign vote tabulation decide who wins election and the popular vote. It didn't matter last time that the guy running against him couldn't fill a school auditorium without counting his own staff, and Trump had to turn people away at venues with a capacity of 50,000 seats. Nope, the alzheimers patient fall guy won fair and square. It doesn't matter who the little peasants vote for, it matters who counts those votes and who sits in the electoral college.

+1 yIf he doesn't win the primary, I hope he runs as an independent. This will assure that the dumbest human on the planet (Biden) will win, again. I think Trump is awesome, but half of the planet thinks brain-dead Biden is their guy. Good. I think the liberal voters need another 4 years of a criminal like Biden who openly allows open borders.
Biden said that Russia invaded Iran. It's hard to imagine someone so stupid that they get that wrong while reading a teleprompter, but this is the guy the liberals chose.
He left Americans behind in Afghanistan and gifted the Taliban billions in weapons.
I know that he's a walking/sleeping disaster, but liberals aren't bright enough to see it.

You are correct about one of the biggest problems in US elections at the moment, half the world IS voting for Biden whether or not they have citizenship eligibility to do so.

@Sixgunsound
The entire system is rigged. Look at all the tards on this site from outside the US who are crying about Trump. I've talked to a handful of "paid posters." It's no different than BLM or Antifa. They get paid to say stupid shit online. - +1 y
Kicking the anthill gets a response, which generates ad revenue. Most of the inane bullshit 'problems' afflicting only the west right now are a result of making attention a transactable commodity. I uses to say to students when counseling them about popularity issues that attention is the coin of the realm, but now it actually is!

@Sixgunsound
I don't know how the ad revenue works, but there really is paid posters. If you talk to them, they will tell you they don't even believe the stuff they post, but it's an easy way to work for home. And even though the pay isn't that great, you can probably crank out 16 hours per day. Heck, we post here for free. And once you realize these posters exist, things start to make sense. Just look at that moron who posts about 5 anti-Trump questions per day. He has to be either living in an insane asylum or being paid.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 ySome states have a law against people who lose in a primary running for a 3rd party. If he ran, it would be pure revenge on Republicans for their lack of loyalty and the Republican nominee would have no chance.
10 ReplyThe Democrats would love him if he did. He's egotistical enough to want to but not sure he's that stupid.
He wouldn't win and would just split the conservative vote.20 Reply27.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Trump probably would not bother unless it would benefit him somehow. He is polling at over 50% in the Republican primaries so I don;t think he has to worry.

@FunkyMonkee I agree that he's a patriot. But he's also a narcissist.

Even if he is, so what? You think JOE isn't one? Nearly EVERY speech he makes he HAS to include his family, his life stories, all kinds of bullshit lies about himself! I don't recall Don EVER doing that more than once or twice!!
Should Donald Trump run in the next election?
