What will be the end result of marriage refusal?

Men don't want to get married, and women only want the "best" (upper 10%) men. What will be the end result of this? The birth rate is way down.

I will share my unbiased opinion from an evolutionary perspective.

I honestly think that marriage refusal generally will do more harm to men than women.

Here’s my opinion, which stems from my interest in evolutionary psychology and from what I’ve read there : Women - while in their short-lived prime have a chance to turn down even the most attractive guys, it means they are sought after by men who might be much higher in the attractiveness scale than the aforementioned girls.

Yes, that is most likely just for casual relationships with some exceptions but mostly, girls can sleep with literally any guy.

If they want a child and a marriage is not an option, they would most likely have a child from a man whose child will end up being highly attractive for the women of future generations and thus, better chances for her own genes to survive.

I think marriage for a man, is a way to “bind” a woman, (who would otherwise help to keep on the bloodline of other male) to stay with him and make sure the children born are his, in return of providing her with protection, love, loyalty and resources for the children.

Why is that the best looking guys don’t settle early or they actually never settle? Because it’s a less of a win for them to just have children with one woman when they can have children with as many women as possible.

Just my thoughts analyzing info from what I’ve read overtime and I am really into evolutionary psychology.

You will think, why would women choose to have children with men who will most likely leave in the end? That will make their lives lonely and miserable in the end.

That’s a price some women are willing to pay for having their genes passed on to the fittest offsprings.

All things being roughly equal, I think a wealthy man will win out over a poor man every time, looks notwithstanding, assuming there is not a really huge disparity in appearance.

Not really. My ex fiancé was broke, partially that’s the reason he never managed to come to me and I waited for him for 2 years, because I loved him not because he was wealthy. But I believed he would be very, very successful someday, and I always supported him.

Well, in the end he told me that had he had more money he wouldn’t make me wait so long and he would come as soon as the borders opened 1.5 years later. So, I guess, practically the lack of money can ruin the relationship too, even when both of you love each other as much as we did.

That is because it was so easy to get an abortion. No one wants to raise kids anymore because it is expensive. You can see that by all the mothers/fathers that are killing their kids. This darling girl is Camilla, aged 11 months. She was killed by her father, dismembered, and thrown out with the trash like garbage. This is so much worse than abortion. Why is this happening in the United States?

I've been proposed to 4 times. Once I said yes, once was a conditional yes, two were no. I think the dissolution of marriage in the traditional sense is going to lead to a lot of new frontiers as far as break ups go. No alimony if there's no marriage. Ownership has more heft to it. The birthrate is down, but can we attribute that? I mean so many people are cool with kids out of wedlock I wonder if there is causation or correlation there. I'm a strong supporter of Team Thanos, so population decline isn't going to hurt my feelings significantly provided it isn't a localized event. Eventually women "settle" for what they're actually worth or they die alone, but their IG accounts don't actually convert to many proposals despite all the "You're a 10 baby" comments they have on there.

I'd like to think that people will get out in society more, better themselves, better their communities, become someone that men would actually WANT to marry, I'm just not sure if I'll be around long enough to see that.

@exitseven Interesting Most of the men I know have wives that may not be on the cover of a magazine but they're caring, generous, well-mannered, supportive and feminine. They are all in shape, sure, but not outlandishly so.

Briefly, I think that as the marriage rate declines, we will reach a sort of social "critical mass" and both men and women will begin to relent a bit hopefully. I do not see women relaxing their "standards" easily, and I think many will indeed die alone as a result. At least some men are likely to relax their demands for virginity and low body counts in response to their sexual frustration.

As a bottom line, I think this situation will slowly work out, but a lot of people will suffer in the mean time.

@msc545. As I have said in other posts, you can't tell women shit. Women will stubbornly insist the problems are all die to men and that they are "queens" who shouldn't lower their standards. It will take 30 years before women even begin to consider they are a part of the problem.

I think the woman will be left with raising a child alone, which is sad, all children need both parents a part in their life. I don't want a woman stuck raising my child without me part of the child's life.

I think there are plenty of people out there getting married, they are just waiting longer to do it.

I don't see any unified action by "men" happening. Some men are happy being married, some don't want to be married. Same for women.

Individual men may refuse marriage, but men in general still seem to get married
