If you compare them to the left in the United States during the time of the 1930s and 1940s yes. The left in the United States in 2023 would actually agree with most of Hitler’s policies. Social welfare programs high taxes left wing German nationalism (nationalism can be both left and right) we remember Hitler for what he did in World War II, but not his actual political philosophy.

Compared to the European left at the time he was right wing. Socialism and communism was a very popular concept in Europe during the between 1920-1940 even after the rise and fall of Nazi Germany the left-wing concepts of the social welfare is stayed like you saw in Sweden, and other countries was still very popular. They didn’t want to go all the way to the left and become communist, but there was massive support for left-wing concepts.

The American right wing is basically pull yourself up, with someone help from friends and family and your local community and church. Since Americans have fallen away from the church and localism since the LBJ were reflecting the right wing of Europe of the 1930. Remember when people from the Soviet union were asked what they think about American policy they basically said it was a Anarchy

But experts are the ones who study for years and operate on you or invent the next tech of the next Industrial Revolution.

I never said I would ignore them. I would take their advice under advisement. Consider what I know and research what I don't. Consider their plan of action and the pros and cons of it. Try to brainstorm a better plan and then make a decision.
