If a person truly wants to eat meat, get an abortion or have racist thoughts I believe protests probably cannot change their mind if these people hold a strong view about something.

It’s not pleasant to hear but I think it’s true racism will never end no matter how many protests people go on.

It takes effort and dedication to dismantle racism and create lasting change. They are certainly a part of educating ourselves and others, pushing for better representation, talking openly about societal issue, and understanding our privileges.

Ultimately, anti-racism protests are essential in creating real, measurable change as they help bring light to ongoing oppression that might otherwise remain hidden.

As a man from the Southern United States, I feel obligated to educate you on the real deal about racism in America. You don't wake up one day, make your coffee, and think, 'Gee I sure do hate black people.' It doesn't work like that. Here's how it works: First, we let everyone think the North won the Civil War. Next, we shoot Abraham Lincoln in the head. Next, we pass State laws to make it illegal to be black since criminals are not protected by the 13th amendment. And yes, we then take over the media and highlight all the black criminals --- and that's how you keep slavery alive in spite of the Federal government. Now that we have technology, we don't need blacks. But, back then it made sense to brainwash everyone into believing they are stupid criminals. When MLK protested in the 1960's they finally got some justice because TV was invented and they realized they were free.

We really don’t need any anti racist protests. It’s common knowledge that being racist is frowned upon and that it’s not good to be one. What are the protests really gonna do? Is a racist gonna see that through their window and think “oh my maybe I should stop being prejudiced, this protest really made me reflect on who I am”. Chances are they will not do that.
