What's your opinion of Robert Kennedy Jr? Would you vote for him as president and do you think he has a legitimate chance going forward?

I like him a lot. I would vote for him.

I was inclined to loathe him because (1) Democrat, who have largely gone what can only be called state run Corporatist and culturally Communist in recent years, and (2) A KENNEDY.

But by gum, he has called out the rest of his Party on their "Woke" garbage which amounts to shitting all over the chiefly (but by no means solely) White Working Class. He is also spot on about how certain industries, from Pharmaceuticals to Internet companies to Social Media, have gotten into bed with the Demunist Party rulers and become apparatchiks in what amounts to a Faustian bargain: Corporations push Cultural "Woke" (sic) Marxism, in exchange for no anti-trust legislation against are increasingly their quasi monopolies in their industries, and all the cheap gardeners and maids they want from south of a border over which human trafficked girls, opiods, and fentanyl now freely flow.

Now in terms of broader macroeconomic policy, I sense the failed "Great Society" ideas and policies coming from him. But at least he doesn't hate me and my family.

Now I still have my doubts about him in the General Election, but given California's new "Open Top Two" Primary rules, by gum, I WILL vote for him in the California Primary.

I always remembered him as a kid that spit ice cream in a cop's face on Cape Cod and the guy who was a drug addict but I watched him on TV a couple of times and he really has worked behind the scenes to research vaccines. He had the connections and funding to find out a lot about not just the Covid vaccine but other vaccines as well. I was pretty impressed by him. I don't know if he would be an effective president and maybe he is trading off his family name but he would be a lot batter than the vegetable in chief we have now.

@Curmudgeon No one was “not allowed” to question anything and virologists were clear that the effectiveness would wane as the virus mutated. That part was just common sense. It will always be difficult to formulate just as any viral vaccine is. They change rapidly. Kennedy makes a number of baseless claims about vaccines. It’s up to him to prove them and debunk existing science. Of course he has no expertise or education in virology, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
