Why do white Americans dislike being called European American?

That is what they are

American is their nationality and citizenship but their ancestry dna is still European. White skin is a European gene. Blue eyes which many American born people have is also a European gene.

I believe if the white Americans did ancestral dna test they would still get European percentages and if the black Americans did the ancestry dna tests they would still get African percentages

As a European I would prefer if they called themselves that. However, in the U. S., white Americans also include people from Northern Africa and West Asia, for example Morocco, Lebanon or Iran. So not all white Americans have European ancestry.

I never heard the term European-American. Of course, the U. S. is a land of immigrants from various racial and ethnic backgrounds, but why can't they all just be considered Americans instead of having to add a hyphenated prefix. It makes it sound like they have dual loyalty.

Do Australians, for example, refer to themselves as European-Australian?

Everyone I know has different ancestry. My heritage is almost entirely Irish but, as a 4th generation American citizen, I wouldn't refer to myself as Irish-American. And I wouldn't want to be lumped in with all Europeans. It you must refer to my race, call me white or Caucasian. But why do we need to refer to race at all?

In America there are a lot of people whose jobs depend on keeping humans who look different angry at eachother instead of angry at them. Most but not all of them tend to be on the political left.

They had a plan for every serious competitor nation, that just happened to be the one for America. Along with directly promoting and organizing conflict, they recruit Americans into the cause of international communism at universities, who will become future politicians and corporate leaders in the future. It is those fellow travelers who are continuing the work of the long defunct Soviet Union to bring down America by making blacks and whites hate eachother. This helps them with their foreign allies by being seen to promote the cause of international communism, and while they wait for the glorious revolution it helps them domestically by distracting their constituents from their misdeeds in public office.
