Why are White Republicans so obsessed with Asians?

When they are talking about affirmative action, culture, discipline, crime, they always seem to brand Asians as the more innocent and smarter people, while at the same time in the past they blamed the Coronavirus on Chinese people as a whole.

We live in a country where Indians, Armenians, Georgians, Middle Easterners, other non-East Asians aren't quite recognized as Asians.

• Asians tend to have high grades. (And 'work death'.)
• Asians tend not to commit violent crimes, compared to other races. Some of that is about gun laws in countries; some is embedded in their culture.
