Is it true russians live in 1920s?

No, russia is very advanced country. I have friends who has been in Moscow. Its very modren and young people are very educated. Russian people have less tolernce for BS and petty crimes. The Streets are safe. No sexual harrassment like westren Europe. No tourists Rip offs. Streets are very safe at night. People are good. Not very warm and fuzzy and openly friendly but very good people and honest. Before war they had all international brands, but all these have closed down now. They had youtube and all kind of social media and they have their own like telegram so I dont think in the 1920 people had these things.

Not at all. When I was last there, at least the cities I was in felt completely modern, not very different from other European cities.

Putting has brainwashed a lot of the population. Also majority of the population grew up in the USSR. Most younger people will know what Apple, McDonald's is etc. There are not stuck in 1920's but definitely are behind on the times.
