Do they really strip search you in prison?

I don't know if any of you here ever been to prison but I am wondering.. Do they really strip search you in jail?

Yep they must do it for reasons first of all its for dominating the inmate like a psychological trick. And 2nd for safety of CO as Some people really smuggle things to attack others and it did happen. by the way we all did got stripped search in airport with that machine. For the same 2 reasons i mentioned

For a prisoner, yes, they do.

I went on a field trip tour to county jail a long time ago. As a visitor, I had to remove my shoes for inspection, if they had laces, they would've confiscated them, then I had to remove my belt, then got pat down in all the places.

Yes they do. They have to do this to make sure you aren't carry anything illegal on you or in your bum
