I heard a rumer that scientist trying to figure out how women can have a baby with ivf treatment without a male sperm.

That is making it seems like men will no longer be needed on planet earth, it's discrimination

Actually they’ve already done this with mice years ago. They have the technology they just need to perfect it before it can be used for humans. They created baby mice with two genetic mothers several years ago. Eggs from a female mouse (who also carried and gave birth to the babies) and created sperm from stemcells of another female mouse. It’s been successful and such mice born to two females have grown up and had pups themselves proving that they’re healthy enough and fertile too.

They’re actually trying to do the same thing but with male mice now. Using sperm from a male mouse and creating eggs from the stemcells of another male mouse (female mouse carried and gave birth to the pups though). They’ve managed to successfully create the eggs and also fertilize them and have them result in fullterm baby mice however those mice all died soon after birth so obviously it’s something that they haven’t gotten right with the stemcell created eggs yet, considering the stemcell created sperm resulted in healthy mice. I guess their focus now is trying to figure out what goes wrong with the eggs and fix it to get the eggs right.

I think this is super cool and would help so many people in the future if/when used for humans. Same sexed couples could have their own genetic children together and people who’re infertile or have low quality sperm/eggs etc could have their own genetic children as well. It would also mean a more equal playing field between men and women when it comes to the fertility window. Women would no longer lose the chance of having genetic kids if they wait too long. They could delay parenthood, just like men can, if they wanted to without the risk of not being able to have genetic kids because of ageing eggs or menopause as its the egg quality and quantity decline as women age that eventually makes women infertile and go into menopause. Their uterus still works, so older woman can be pregnant and give birth like younger women if they use donated eggs or as in this case their own new eggs created from stemcells.

Do... do you really think that men serve no purpose but insemination? That women would get along perfectly fine without us otherwise? While it's not legal to test them to full term, and impractical to test them at all (given the lack of need), artificial sperm cells were invented in 2009.

Go hide in the office of one of those "we only hire women" companies. Spend a few days watching and listening to them; you'll be MUCH less worried afterwards.
