A buddy at college got accused falsely of rape, he did 1 year until the case was overturn dur to the conviction being unsafe. The case should never have made it to court.

Are you American? there they have a quote of the amount of people to go to jail and they imprison people to fill up the numbers.

Not personally. But we just had a very famous case in Germany where a janitor was falsely accused of drowning an old woman in her bathtub. He was behind bars for 14 years till his new lawyer could prove his innocence.
