We can't even get trans right, how can we get their rights right? Many people still think trans people are predators, liars and pretenders who only dress up to attack people. Or they think trans people are just delusional, unaware and can't understand how the world works or who they are. Or—most often—both those things at the same time. Which of course doesn't even make any fucking sense bc how can someone be lying if they believe it, & how can someone not understand what they're doing if they are specifically trying to trick & hurt people?

Trans people do have rights already. Just because they have this idea in their head of what they want to be doesn’t mean everyone else needs to be believe it. I know someone that wanted to transition, they were about in their 20s. He thought he wanted to transition, he sat in therapy as that is instructioned before getting surgeries, and then he changed his mind. He is no longer a transitioning into a “woman” , he is now living as a man, so why do you ever think this whole process is okay for a child to go through?
