What do people think of transgender rights for for trans women?

I just woundered how many people are for trans rights and also i want people to answer after they have the facts and have done their research i dont want opinions based on non factual information i would like to see people opinions after learning the factual imformation would you still agree with it or disagree for my rights as women.

As a trans person myself, I know what the trans experience is like. Being on the east coast of Canada however, I have it pretty easy. And I have an opinion that clashes with a lot of people like us.


I do think that bathrooms and change rooms should be divided by genitals, but not by gender. Cisgendered women shouldn’t have to avoid the change room just because they don’t want to risk seeing a penis. Why is your comfort more important than theirs?


That said, of course you and I deserve rights. Of course we deserve comfort and to affordably take our medication to ease our dysphoria. If people can go get permanent tattoos they’ll have to live with for the rest of their lives, why can’t you go get a softer body and face?


Sports are far more complicated, because everyone knows that testosterone encourages muscle growth, right? Right? You can put a trans man, who has male hormones and higher muscle mass, in a women’s competition. You can put a trans woman, who has a suppressant for those same hormones, to compete with men. Are they not allowed to compete at all then? Should they be required to be fully transitioned and on their hormones to compete in their preferred category? Unfortunately, that may have to be the line to draw, for the sake of fairness.

Yeah i get you i agree mostly i the thing that id have to say is cisgender women should have to avoid changing room because of penis for their comfort but that works both way we should have to avoid womens changing room for their comfort either its the same thing which ever way you look at it i believe for bathroom that if your a trans women and you clearly pass as a women you should not have to go to the mens because thats more dangerous then for the trans person people will instantly know your trans because why else would u be in the mens at that point and u could be beat up for it cuz some guys are just that cruel and sports i agree with you i probaly should make my argument clear testosterone does make you likely to win and give a unfair advantage but if you on hormones which a lot of trans people will go on hormones for sports because they get it but it shouldn't just be outright not allowed regardless of medical transition or not but i do get you at least you had an intelligient viewpoint on the matter and not an emotional opinion with not enough facts about trans people to consider valid soo their is that just not 100% agree with you but i mostly do i feel like they is more things people can do that make our life easier and make it soo that this argument with testosterone in a womens sporting team wouldn't happen like easier access to hormones because though i agree it needs to be moderated it shouldn't be guarded soo heavily that its almost impossible unless you have a tone of money to get them.

When it comes to the basic human rights, of course they should have it.

When it comes to extra rights just to accommodate their personal feelings, then absolutely not.
For example:
Trans women shouldn't compete in women's sports, because it is woefully unfair to real women.
This should be like a "duh", but apparently not to some people.
Women have lost scholarships and money and fame because a man took it from them.
Womens sports is a protected category, but in our quest for "equality" and "inclusiveness" we've created the ultimate inequality and all that women have fought for can once again be taken away by a men.

Trans women shouldn't attend an all girls school
Trans women shouldn't use the women's bathroom, it's so silly and potentially dangerous.

I think we should be helping these people, not validating some of their delusions.

In the post i made i said factual reasons for agree or disagree yours are very much based on emotion you the way you call us men is horrible the facts actually prove that we are not men and the sports is a problem i do agree to an extent they is many women that can beat men in wide variety of sports but nobody ever says anything about that do they you dont ever hear a women beats a man at somethings its all about how men beat women at sports its factually incorrect to have that assumtiom that all trans women can beat a cis women in every thing to say that is actually very dehumanising to cis women and there nothing dangerous about a trans women going to a womens public toilet we just want to pee or do the other business we not in their to sexually harass assualt or perv on another women because with that argument you could say the same in reverse but nobody would give a shit if a trans man went to the male toilets nobody would bat an eyelid and that trans man could do the exactly same thing a trans women is accused of doing but because of what they got in between their legs nobody would care and nothing wrong with a trans woman going to an all girls school in a non all girls school men play against women in sport and things like that its the exact samw thing soo any previous argument dont apply to it and plus a lot of trans kids use disabled toilets because of fear or bullying anyway soo again not an issue

and yes people should help us thats only thing i agree with the help we need is to see a gender specialist they will confirm if your ready or not after many appointments with a pyschologist and the help they give is hormones and surgeries which is helping us and we have no delusions either bieng trans is something we are born with nobody would choose to ube trans its not a delusions delusions are infliction of somwthing that we feel is possitive it could harm others but we would not know that transgender on the other hand is something we are born with from a biological standpoint which biological diagnosis od the existemce of trans is not a delusional thing its a factual thing that happens to actual people.

Let me give you my view on the LGBT community:
I understand "LGB" because it's simply a part of nature.
As for "T*" i put an asterisk on it.

If a person is transgender for biological / physiological difference, chemical imbalance etc... That makes perfect sense, that's just natural.

My issue is with people who just "feel" like they are something that they are not, this is where I call absolute BS, because anyone could easily take advantage of this and that's why I brought up the sports issue and the fact that women are the ones that will ultimately suffer the consequences.

Also, you bring up lame games like tennis, I'm talking about real sports that actually require one to be very physically fit, and that is why "Women's sports is a PROTECTED category"
It's a protected category for a reason, it's protected because the best men vs the best women is not even a competition, it's a slaughter in favour of men. You guys are the one putting feelings over facts, men and women are built differently, that's why women's sports is a protected category.

Unfortunately that does happen though thats kinda my reasoning for making this poll was to see what people said and see what they bring up and thats something i woundered if it be brought up because its something that happens a lot more than people think and the jobs that turn you down might not explicitly say we turned you down because your trans a lot of the time they dont say anything but what they are actually thinking is a trans person is too controversial to employ like people are less likely to shop at a womens clothes shop if a trans woman works their compared to a non trans women thats what they look at they dont look at us as people with rights they look at us as statistics towards their sale quota.

That's true. Therapy can't completely get rid of the dysphoria but it can help with the anxiety and depression that comes with it.
