Wanting to develop clean energy technology and industry isn't 'declaring war on the domestic energy industry'.

I haven't looked into the energy situation in the US but I would imagine, just off the top of my head, that the war that the US started with Russia in the Ukraine would be something to do with it.

What you did, amoungest other things is blow up the gas pipeline between Russia and Europe, which was supplying about 40% of the total gas consumption in Europe, as a result our energy prices quadrupled over night and government intervention to limit the impact on the end consumer, so we are bleeding out money right now like we didn't get enough of that shit during the banking crisis and covid.

$3.89 a gallon is FUCK ALL, the price of fuel in the UK at its worst was about £2 per litre so now if I'm not being charged that I count myself as lucky.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that YOU PERSONALLY do not own a coal mine, so it isn't infact IN ANY WAY (please do try to understand what 'in any way means) in YOUR interest to keep the coal industry alive in America, YOU PERSONALLY would be better off if your nation was producing renewable energy products, your nation would also be better off.

So what exactly, apart from your profound ignorance, is your problem?

Prices have gone up because the value of the dollar has gone down, that is what happens when you print money.

You printed an extra 5 trillion dollars because of covid and that was Trump, not Biden, not that it makes any difference.

Covid was the reason Trump had to spend the extra money. BIden continued it and increased it. His "BIG" accomplishment was the "Inflation Reduction Act"which is just a giveaway program for liberal programs that will only cause more money printing and more inflation. I know what a deficit is and I also understand economics. I understand when you stop producing something it becomes scarce and than it becomes more expensive. When it is a commodity that is used in the production and distribution of just about everything we consume I also understand that the price of everything else will also rise. Printing more money only makes it worse. This is where we are now. Biden is trying to hold the line until after the election. Gas prices are starting to rise again and with that will come more inflation. Hw has already emptied our oil reserves to make it look no so bad for the midterms. Now he has to come up with a new trick to keep the economy from collapsing.

It was the war on the energy industry that was the chief cause of inflation. As soon as I saw gas prices start to go up I knew that soon everything else would go up as well. His other policies caused businesses that were beginning to invest in America again all of a sudden cancel plans to build factories here and locate them overseas. All this contributed to the stock market taking a dive. The market hates uncertainty and that is what Biden brought to the economy

Show me the investments made by the US government into renewable energy and its effects on coal mining etc.

Because I think that is complete bullshit, it doesn't make any sense at all and there is a far simplier explanation; THERE IS A FUCKING WAR GOING ON which has interupted global energy supplies.
