I know I am not a girl, but if I didn't think one was absolutely gorgeous I wouldn't be able to call her 'stunning' or anything close.

It's one of those compliments that is almost trying to say, "hey you might not be wearing a dress, but you are still beautiful to me."

WARNING: If it is a guy you barely know telling you this, then he is just trying to get in your pants.

"You are stunning, wanna dance."

It should be more of a -- he sees you from across the room -- can't stop looking at you, and finds you later to tell you: "You look stunning!" ;)

If I were to say you looked stunning or stunningly beautiful, it means just that - your appearance has me stunned - in a good way. For me, it's one of the highest complements I could make to a woman's appearance, if I find her stunningly beautiful.

You look breathtakingly beautiful. It is a really nice compliment. This guy came up to me and said in a slow voice while looking me up and down "Wow, you look absolutely beautiful". It was very nice and stunning is even nicer. I don't think most guys use it often.
