Girls, how do you respond if a guy says you're beautiful?

Lunch break was done so we went back to our room and a guy was waiting for me in my seat, when I got there, he told me I'm beautiful and it's the first time a guy told me that face to face so stupid as I am, I just stared at him lol

Of course it's Awkward, but flattering and... the Only thing you can say is: "Oh, thanks, you're pretty good looking yourself." Works for me every time to take away some of the 'Chill in the air.'l
When it 's Family, friends however, just smile and giggle and say: "Oh, thanks..." They get a charge of More of a pretty smile.. xx

I don't respond well, actually.
I say "thank you" and/or "hush" or "shut up".
I blush, cover my face. It embarrasses me. I just want to hide, disappear, vanish.
I don't really believe people when they tell me, because of how I see myself... so it's hard for me to hear it, but I'm actively working on this.

I'll blush. And when the night time comes, what he said will be replaying back all over and over and over of my head and I'll fall asleep. I'll wake up likes a normal day and forget what he said hahah
