Well a lot has happened to us over the last 3 years. I know myself and everyone I know is struggling financially, emotionally and mentally. Low paying jobs, medical costs are up, insurance costs are up, gas prices are up, food prices are up, housing is unaffordable and our congress is literally brain dead in office and still winning elections, so there is little hope things are going to get better.
Canada seems to be losing their freedoms just as quickly so I don’t know how much friendlier or happier they’ll be in the long run.

Well. It depends where you go in Canada and the US… Canadians are a lot like Midwesterners and southerners. Very nice people on average. But again… it depends where you go. Some big cities are very unfriendly and some small towns are very unfriendly to outsiders

Are they actually?
If that is the case I’d say its more probably just uniformity in their views.
Canada tends to have far less conservatives than the US does, and far more liberals relative to population.
