So now you’re a federalist, since when did George Bush get the benefit of the doubt for Hurricane Katrina? What are we a federalist or anti-federalist country should really rely on federal government or should we rely on our own means in which case what is the point of federal government? They told me to expect him to do something about it. Like go to Maui and help the people in need he finely did that yesterday when he should have done something about it a week ago. There was a bunch of criticism about handled Katrina I was 12 when it happened and i remember watching CNN and they were making fun of him for not wearing proper gear when he went down there

Why on earth would a president, who is not trained in first aid or piloting planes, or boats, or building, or emergency search and rescue, etc, go get some photo ops of himself pretending to while being in the way of those who are trained? And yes the president is suppose to go to places where they’re natural disasters for a photo op that’s part of the job. Trump did it with every hurricane same with Obama same with Bush and Clinton. It shows they care Biden hasn’t done that so it shows he doesn’t care. You can make the case the guy is old and doesn’t have the energy to go to Hawaii for the photo op but that would bring into question should we really have a guy that old and president (and yes the age argument would apply to Trump as well the guy is 78).

They go after when all the security and accommodations aren't going to interfere with rescue operations. The emergency situation is ongoing.
