No the comparison between dolphins and sharks is convergent evolution.

Birds are literally theropod dinosaurs, they aren't simply similar in form.

In fact, because there are so many branches of feathered theropods going in different directions build wise, there is technically no such thing as a "bird", the term bird is outdated.

This is because any defining feature that would classify it as a bird, is also present in many other dinosaur branches. There is no more reason to call a cassowary a bird than their is to call citipati a bird.
