Whichever country's culture you have adapted, you can consider yourself a person of that country. My husband is Turkish and we have been living in Turkey for a long time, but my Scandinavian cultural ties are still strong.. But technically, you're British.. Sorry lmao.

My OH is from South America with European heritage. I'm from UK. My kids were born in UK, they have 3 passports and are being raised bilingual. Primarily they will be British, but will know their heritage

Well, someone like that would be Turkish and American. Whether they consider themselves English would probably depend on how long they lived there and/or if they have a UK passport.
