While hormone therapy basically adjusts the levels in the body to better match the average man/woman, men and women have very different levels.
Women normally have between 15-300pg/ml. Broadly speaking.
Men normally have 10-50pg/ml.
Now what this means of course is that there are a lot of men and women alive that have hormone levels more in line with the other sex. A lot of women have estrogen level more comparative to men.
Would a woman at 300 be a 100% woman and a woman at 15 be an almost man? Even though we can't tell them apart - and neither can they.
But basically, a lot of men and women have overlapping hormone levels despite some being men and some women. So while ability and quantity of these things absolutely matter it would be a bad penultimate proof of anything.

The obviously aren't. That's why they are trans. Nobody says they are biologic males or females. Even if you're a trans-man, you still have the chance to get ovaries-cancer if you don't remove everything and trans-woman also would needed to be medically treated like biological men if they unfortunately got prostate cancer. What do you want to hear?

Someone who was born as a male can never become a true woman, they lie to themselves.
You cannot change your biological sex without surgery. They simply choose to live and identify as the gender of their choice. Hormone therapy makes the body appear more masculine or feminine.
The fact that they have XX or XY chromosomes means they’re not the opposite gender.
They are mentally ill. That's about it.
