They want mob rule and dictatorship with no descent allowed. That is their definition of "democracy," oppression of minorities, and political opposition. In other words mob rule.

What well intentioned person would even entertain the thought of associating themselves with an organization with a history like that? What differentiates them from Neo-Nazis other than the kind of people they persecuted?

1) There was no Democratic Party in colonial times when the "founding fathers" owned slaves. It was formed in 1828.
2) Political parties didn't lynch blacks - white supremacists did.

4) The largest producers of textbooks post Civil War were companies owned by Carnegie and Rockefeller - both Republicans. They controlled the education system, not any Democrats.
5) The debate rages in on in COURT about whether Free Speech includes Hate Speech, and whether a privately owned social media company can censor what they choose. Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant, as is your personal interpretation of the First Amendment, except as it pertains to your personal agreement or disagreement with the court's opinion. The court's opinion will change it's members change, and the debate will continue to rage on.
6) Your take on Voter ID might hold some sway IF the current GOP was not actively making it more difficult for minorites and the poor to vote due to burdensome rules for acquiring ID's in RED states.

Affirmative Action is worded it doesn’t explicitly or expressly discriminate against white males, it elevates women and minorities. It gave them apparent permission to skeet around the Civil Rights Act. The recent Supreme Court ruling finally put justices in place who had the balls to not only acknowledge it, as even past LIBERAL justices have done, the had the resolve to stop it.

Most women who get abortions in America are NOT black. The RATE is higher for black women (partially because the black F population skews younger - 70 year olds don't get abortions), but they account for less than 40% of legal abortions in the US.

As far as opinion, the initiative that passed in Kansas (not exactly Berkeley, is it) showed that most people support abortion rights. And the vast majority of young women, those most affected.

But if you are concerned about killing babies, then you should be supporting use of the morning-after pill. I don't see a lot of that among the "pro-life" crowd.
