Joe Biden's apparent solution to the border crisis is to sign an executive order forcing border states to keep them there. He doesn't wanna piss off his elite Democrat governors and mayors and of course, his voters. He also doesn't want the problem in big media controlled cities. They might have to do their jobs and actually report on it! This is a brilliant move, isn't it?

The policy actually makes sense (and I know bringing common sense to this debate is a lost cause). Governors busing them around the country as a political stunt is only exacerbating the problem. Keeping them close in the border states makes it easier for immigration to keep track of them and it’s easier and cheaper to expel them if their asylum claims are rejected, which most of them are. They would be wearing GPS monitoring which, again, is also a good idea. Congress needs to step up and help the Executive branch, more funding, more manpower and immigration reform. Unfortunately, the executive branch is limited by the budget and the laws it has to work under.

I reject that argument for a couple reasons. #1) Biden was shipping them all over the country for months. During a pandemic! People that weren't vaccinated or required to be vaccinated.
#2) They have no legal right to seek asylum in the US, because they are crossing Mexico's border. They should be immediately held in Mexico but Biden is letting them cross and forcing border states to deal with the problem.

Regardless of what the administration did in the past, making an effort to streamline the process should be a worthy goal. I’m not sure how anyone would disagree with that. As for your second point, I’m pretty sure that’s nonsense.

My second point is nonsense? That's international law. You seek asylum at the first border you cross. You don't cross 2,3 fucking borders to get to your desired country. Well, actually consensus doesn't say that. Did you see the CNN polls? So far, every GOP front runner, including Trump, is beating Biden. Nothing will stop illegal immigration but as proven under Trump, it can be slowed. Remain in Mexico, threats of heavy tariffs if Mexico doesn't stop them at their southern border, and actually deporting people as they cross. Nothing complicated or fascist.
