I think he's too old too move forward. They should try to get him to step down and announce a new candidate for this election. The reality is these can't be the two best candidates for our country. It's ridiculous. Biden thank you but it's time to step down.

I know you didn't ask this but unfortunately this doesn't make it automatically right to vote for trump. I vote on principal and policy and believe if Biden can't last the entire term that checks and balances are in place to carry on the vision. It would be ok if that happened.

That said, I also don't think Trump is up for the job either. He's all over the place and is still pushing the 2020 election was rigged and his rnc speech, although I thought started out really good, taking on a new tone, promising to end divisiveness, went right back into his normal rally rhetoric, and negated all the good stuff he said early in his speech. The guy can't stop playing the victim card. If he left that all out he would have been fantastic. He just can't help himself.

I am glad Trump is ok. Trump was literally shot, someone died, and people were injured just for supporting their candidate at which is unacceptable. It sounds like the shooter also has plans for Biden and he was just lucky it never happened to him.

What I learned is to try to be more understanding of people that don't believe in the same things as me and be kinder. If politicians won't unite us by saying it consistently instead of saying it once and then negating it with divisive verbiage then we have to take that into our own hands by reminding ourselves to love each other despite our differences.

I hope we can come out this a better country despite who wins.
