I believe it. NY had strong right wing leadership for like 20 years. Recently went left in 2012-2013, while like some other cities have been left for 30-50 years.

Rubbish. Guiliani's reign happened to coincide with the first generation of young adults who hadn't been poisoned with lead in fuel as children. The same reductions in violent crime occurred across the country at the same time, regardless of policing.

No Rudy cleaned up New York. It was not some lead conspiracy theory. The police helped out the community, and the law and order polices turned NY into what it is today.
