What happened to New York City and San Francisco?

Both cities are about equally as bad. It was not like that when I was a kid. I don’t feel safe in either of them but growing up they were the safest and most fun places in the country it seems that a lot has changed for the worst in both cities.

New York was never the safest place in the country, it's always had this highest violent crime rate by far, but what's happened now is Democrat leadership that destroys cities but keeps getting re-elected.

New York definitely felt like the safest large American city back in the early 2000s. It’s gone downhill faster than San Francisco’s fall for sure. San Francisco also felt about equally as safe in the 2000s. Both cities now are among the worst the country in my opinion.

The migrant crisis is out of control in New York. Beating up cops, stabbings, raping women. Horrible stuff. I see no hope there but I do think the Bay Area will go Republican eventually because it’s white. I’m not a democrat at all.
