If you want to a buy house over here you pay between 500k and 2 million. Most people live in flats or appartments they rent because there are many regulations you have to consider as an owner of house or an appartment. I live still live in my university appartment with three other guys we rent it together so paying each about 700€ per month.

I paid 160 for it but it's valued at a little under 400 now. I bought some rental properties an hour from here for 40k and 60k, then popped about 10k into them to get them rented out.

I live in a fancy co-op apartment that I own. I am not going into debt for a house. Plus I get maintenance men and I have plumber on call late at night. No rent or electric bill just maintenance fees.

I saved a lot of money going to college on a scholarship and coming out debt free. A regular apartment sucks, but co-ops are better.

My childhood home is worth 1.2 million. My current house is worth $500,000. There’s no mortgage but the property taxes have doubled on me got the notice in the mail last month

depends. for a small bungalow type deal, you'd pay like 300.000 here. but anything more substential will be around half a million.

My share of rent is 1500/month. When I get around to buying I’ll be looking around 500k, but there’s nothing that cheap within 6 hours of here

Same as rent. But you have to have a good foundation to buy a house. Down payment. Good Credit history etc
