An absolute doofus who should've been swapped out for a different candidate when he had a mentally debilitating stroke - which was well before voting actually happened. It's not like they didn't have anyone else who could beat Oz.

Fetterman is absent from Senate voting roughly a third of the time, which is the highest rate of absence of anyone in the Senate by a significant margin now that Feinstein is dead (who missed nearly half of the votes).

It's not rocket surgery: he's mentally not up to the job. Sure the Democrats don't actually care about mental competency as long as they'll do/vote as they're told, but it's embarrassing to the state and nation, and it's depriving him personally of getting the care and recovery he needed.

I am a bit sympathetic because the stroke he had that put him in the state he is in isn't his fault but we cannot afford to have a guy in his condition in a position of authority.
