What does being an American mean to you?

It is to belong to the greatest country in the history of the world. It is both a privilege and a responsibility. We do not own this country, we are more like stewards. It is up to each of us to protect the country and constitution that our founders had created and our parents and grandparent fought to protect.

Sadly being in a country that lacks responsibility and is highly entitled from main street to wall street, and having a government that reflects that. It wasn't always this bad but I bet it will only get worse. It won't get better until peaple decide to fix them selfs first.

@davado88 It absolutely is. I haven't been a fan of most of the presidents we have had. On top of that, they (especially the ones within the last 20 years) use our bill of rights as toilet paper and kindling.

@davado88 Except there is a scary amount of people in the US who think the war mongers or use tragedies like 9/11 or covid to ignore the rights they have sworn to protect are the good guys.
