In an ideal world they should not but I can't see how you can strike at a city based enemy without killing civilians. Israeli anger is high after the attacks so it would be impossible for the government to shrug it's shoulders and say they won't do anything in cases they kill the innocent.

You do realise Israel has been bombing Gaza for decades right? Roughly half the population of Gaza are children or young adults. Hamas the group that carried out the attack on Israeli citizens was elected in 2006. Not that having voted in an election would rationalise war crimes being carried out against a civilian population who cannot defend themselves but this 'war' is the equivalent of body builder beating the ever living shit out of a toddler while people on the side-lines complain that 'that kid has been given way too much of an advantage' I'm not excusing killing civilians but what goes around comes around.

I'm pretty sure most people (especially politicians and political pundits) claiming to be pro-life are not pro-life. At least not for the now nearly 2,000 children that have been killed by Israeli airstrikes. That's why I have a hard time taking the so-called pro-life crowd seriously because their tone changes regarding children they don't like or care about such as Palestinian children. Never mind the fact that these are born children and therefore viable outside the womb. I never used to think being pro-life was about wanting to control women's bodies but I am now starting to think that when republican men say it. They haven't given me much evidence that they care about all children unless it involves telling a woman what she can and can't do with her body. Not to say Democrats or independents get a pass either if they claim to be pro-life. As far as women are concerned even some women who claim to be "pro-life" seem a bit misogynistic like Tudor Dixon.
