Is it necessary to learn German for business life?

I think most of them know English, is that true? What should be the second foreign language of someone who speaks English?

Mandarin would be better suited if you're looking for a solid second language choice to supplement English in international business.

Unless you plan to work in Germany, German will be less useful.

But literally any language on top of English would be useful for you, in terms of increasing your mental capacity, critical thinking, and lived experience.

You'll also find as you learn a language, learning others becomes a bit easier.

Spanish, French, Mandarin, or Arabic depending on where you're doing business.

German is pretty worthless unless you plan on doing a lot of business in Germany, Austria, and/or Switzerland.

Actually i love arabic and Spanish are they working in every country? For example i live in turkey arabic here works okay but what about usa or Europe

Russian again if you're dealing with Russia, Belarus or Ukraine it'll work. That's what I took in college.

English would be your best bet followed by French. Both of those will keep you covered through most of Europe as well as Africa. Spanish is mostly for South America up to Mexico.

It depends on what you are aiming for. Spanish is fairly common in Europe and America. Chinese is very common in business around Asia. Japanese might be a bit of a waste since quite frankly, they are pretty racist so seeking business opportunities there might be a bit of a waste. Hindi is a pretty good bet since India is a very important developing country with a huge population.

So I would say, if you want to focus on Asia then either go with Hindi or Chinese. If you want to focus in Europe or America then go for Spanish.

Probably Spanish if you’re in the USA as a second language since it’s almost half Latino people here now with all the border crossings. Other countries learn English because it’s the USA was the richest country but who knows now

There are a few months left until my English course ends, and of course I will continue to improve it, but I started to think about what I should choose as a second language. I live in Turkey, but I want to go to Spain in the future.
