Mandarin would be better suited if you're looking for a solid second language choice to supplement English in international business.
Unless you plan to work in Germany, German will be less useful.
But literally any language on top of English would be useful for you, in terms of increasing your mental capacity, critical thinking, and lived experience.
You'll also find as you learn a language, learning others becomes a bit easier.

German is pretty worthless unless you plan on doing a lot of business in Germany, Austria, and/or Switzerland.
Learning it is good for building better business relations but overall its not needed.

Probably Spanish if you’re in the USA as a second language since it’s almost half Latino people here now with all the border crossings. Other countries learn English because it’s the USA was the richest country but who knows now
