I know of him. I know a lot of Turks love him, but he was a hypocrite. He didn't practice what he preached.
He acknowledged that Turkey wasn't just built by the Ottomans and said we shouldn't forget the other cultures that contributed to Turkey. And he also claimed to be pro-secular, yet he kicked out all the Greeks and Armenians out of the country and replaces them with Muslim Turkics then said he's not gonna ban the headscarf.
